Here's what the Hikole gets right immediately: it looks like a dirt bike. Not a ride-on car wearing a motorcycle costume — an actual motocross-style machine with aggressive bodywork, a simulated exhaust pipe, and LED headlights that make it look like it belongs at the starting gate rather than the driveway. For a kid who has seen dirt bikes in real life and specifically asked for one, the visual payoff on the Hikole is genuine.
The 12V motor runs at a single speed — roughly 3 mph, appropriate for the 3–8 age range — and the controls are deliberately simple: a foot peg to go, handlebar-mounted controls for forward and reverse, and a key switch to keep it parked when you don't want it moving. Training wheels are included and bolt on without tools, which matters for the younger end of the age range who aren't ready to manage a two-wheel balance. The battery provides about an hour of continuous use on a full charge, and the included charger is straightforward.
Where the Hikole is honest — and where parents need to be honest with themselves — is terrain. The styling says off-road. The drivetrain does not. This is a flat-surface ride-on. Smooth pavement, a well-maintained driveway, flat compact grass: it handles all of that without complaint. A rocky backyard, a hill, or anything that resembles the terrain you'd actually ride a dirt bike on? That's Razor MX350 territory, which costs about twice as much and earns every cent of the premium on real terrain.
Build quality is the honest cost of the price point. The plastics are lighter than Power Wheels or Razor, the battery compartment cover can loosen with repeated use, and the overall construction isn't going to survive four years of confident riding the way a name-brand alternative would. For a 4-year-old who'll genuinely use it for two seasons before outgrowing it, that's a reasonable trade. For a 7-year-old who's already pushing limits, the Razor MX350 is worth the extra money.
Bottom line: the Hikole 12V electric motorcycle is the right call for younger kids (roughly 3–6) who want the dirt bike experience at a budget price, on a flat surface, for two or three seasons of use. It delivers the look and the basic ride-on experience without pretending to be something it isn't — as long as you don't expect it to be something it isn't.

Our Verdict
The right buy for a 3–6 year old who wants the dirt bike look on a flat surface. Don't expect it to last four years or handle real terrain.
